Kinhtedothi-According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nam Dinh, during the Lunar New Year 2025, the province welcomed more than 22,000 tourists, an increase of 10% over the same period last year. Total revenue from tourism activities reached 7.2 billion VND; an increase of 16.1% compared to the Lunar New Year 2024.
To serve tourists, Nam Dinh organizes many special programs such as the Spring Newspaper Festival At Ty 2025 at the Provincial Library and the art program "Homeland Tet 2025" at the 3/2 Cultural House. Entertainment spots, art exchanges and fireworks displays at Vi Xuyen Park - Tran Hung Dao Monument, Tran Cultural Park and Nam Cuong Hotel Square attract a large number of people and tourists.
In addition, in localities, many cultural and sports activities are organized enthusiastically such as music to celebrate the Party - celebrate Spring, charity program "Charity Tet" and sports competitions: swimming, volleyball, football, badminton, chess... Tourism businesses also implement many promotional programs, service discounts to attract tourists.
To ensure the safety of tourists, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nam Dinh has directed districts and cities to strengthen the management of tourist destinations, control service quality, strictly implement measures to prevent fires, epidemics and food hygiene and safety. The posting of service prices and selling at the correct prices are also strictly controlled.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Inspectorate coordinates with relevant units to monitor, guide and promptly handle violations, in order to maintain a healthy and safe tourism business environment for tourists.
