On January 7, information from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism said that the number of international tourists to Vietnam in December 2024 reached 1,747,240, an increase of 2.1% compared to November 2024, an increase of 27.4% compared to the same period in 2023. The number of domestic tourists in December 2024 is estimated at about 5.0 million, of which about 3.3 million are staying. The cumulative number of domestic tourists in 2024 is estimated at about 110.0 million.
