A retired official withdrew 300 million VND from Decree 178 support to take care of the elderly.

(DN) - As one of the retired officials receiving support from Decree 178/2024/ND-CP of the Government, Ms. Mac Thi Thanh Binh, former President of the Women's Union of Chon Thanh town (old) has allocated 300 million VND out of a total of 400 million VND from the support source to establish the Proactive Health Care Club, supporting the health of the elderly in Chon Thanh ward.

The club prioritizes free health care for seniors aged 80 and over and women in difficult circumstances in the locality.

With the spirit of “proactive, sustainable, compassionate”, the club focuses on supporting proactive health care solutions for the elderly, especially those with symptoms related to the heart, joints, mobility, etc. This is also the way the club accompanies the local health sector in taking care of the health of the elderly.
