After being rolled and fried, the spring rolls have a thin, golden and crispy outer layer. The filling is irresistibly delicious thanks to the combination of meat, shrimp with vegetables, vermicelli, wood ear mushrooms, and shiitake mushrooms, Taste Atlas describes.

This is not the first time Vietnamese fried spring rolls have been honored in the world media. Previously, in May 2023, Vietnamese spring rolls were included in the list of "100 best appetizers in the world" by Taste Atlas. Fried spring rolls were also in the top "50 best dishes in the world" voted by CNN .

Founded in 2015, Taste Atlas (headquartered in Zagreb, Croatia) is known as a map that brings together traditional dishes from around the world.

According to Matija Babić, founder of Taste Atlas, the food and beverage rankings are based on opinions and reviews from experts and food critics to ensure the reliability of the awards.
