According to the Prime Minister , there are only 5 months left from now until December 31, 2025, while the workload is still huge, the requirements are high, and the people's expectations are very earnest. To complete the tasks of 2025, it requires all levels and sectors from the central to local levels to continue to have high determination, great efforts, and drastic actions; to make the best use of the results achieved in the first 6 months of the year; to continue to effectively implement the emulation movement "500 days and nights of emulation to complete 3,000 km of expressway".
The Prime Minister emphasized the spirit of continuing to race against time, "only discuss doing, not retreating and only doing better", with the highest sense of responsibility, the spirit of the August Revolution, with orders from the heart, resolutely completing the goal of having at least 3,000 km of expressway by the end of 2025 as set by the 13th Party Congress.
For Lam Dong province, the Southeast region has the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet and Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressways that have been completed and put into operation for more than 2 years. Although there were many difficulties in the construction work before, with the regular direction of the Government, the Ministry of Transport (now the Ministry of Construction ) and the participation of provincial leaders, project management boards, contractors, etc., these expressways have reached the finish line in accordance with the direction of the Government. Thus, it can be seen that when there is high determination from top to bottom, the implementation will be smooth.
Lam Dong province has identified the expressways Dau Giay - Tan Phu, Tan Phu - Bao Loc, Bao Loc - Lien Khuong as very important traffic routes of the province, the backbone, connecting the region and creating development momentum for the province. Although the province is implementing a 2-level government model with many tasks, in July, Lam Dong still strengthened inspection and urged the progress of these expressways.
It is known that the Tan Phu - Bao Loc expressway has a total length of about 65.88 km; of which, the section through Dong Nai province is 11.91 km and Lam Dong province is 53.97 km. Up to now, the province has approved the investment project, environmental impact assessment report, completed the conversion of forest use for more than 30 km, approved the compensation - site clearance policy framework. At the same time, the province is preparing documents to select investors; detailed regulations on criteria for selecting investors... so it is expected to start construction in the fourth quarter of 2025. Currently, Lam Dong provincial leaders are directing to focus on site clearance, building resettlement areas, identifying material mine areas... to proceed with construction when the documents and procedures are completed.
Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway is part of the Dau Giay - Lien Khuong Expressway system connecting Lam Dong province with the Southeast region. This project, together with the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway project, is expected to create a great driving force for the socio-economic development of the province and neighboring areas, while contributing to improving the competitiveness and attracting investment for Lam Dong province.
With limited time, sectors and localities must continue to make more efforts, overcome difficulties and obstacles to successfully complete assigned tasks. In particular, localities with projects under the Steering Committee, the commune-level authorities will have to make more efforts.
The direction of the head of the Government is for localities to resolve any difficulties or obstacles related to construction materials, if any. “Only discuss, do not discuss backward and only do better” - the clear message of the Prime Minister was once again reiterated at the conference, as an order for ministries and local branches to implement projects, especially projects in the plan to complete 3,000 km of highways by 2025.
