Explore the beauty of C9 cave

Located in the Nam Blang volcanic area of Nam Da commune, Lam Dong province, C9 cave is one of the unique destinations in a complex of nearly 50 caves formed from volcanic eruptions millions of years ago.

C9 Cave was formed by a large volume of lava flow, very high temperature, low viscosity, creating a typical large lava cave with a circular cross-section, about 12 m high, about 15 m wide, slightly flattened elliptical shape.

From the foot of Nam Blang volcano, visitors take about 20 - 30 minutes to walk through a 1.5 km long road to reach the entrance of C9 cave. The cave is nearly 217 m long, about 20 m deep with 2 natural entrances. The northern entrance is a sinkhole 35 - 40 m wide, 7 - 8 m deep, while the southern entrance is smaller with a diameter of about 25 m, 3 - 4 m deep, creating a spectacular entrance for the journey of discovery .

Going deeper inside, under the flashlight, you can see reddish-brown veined basalt cliffs - the product of lava flows that have cooled over millions of years.

As a lava cave located near the source of the eruption, the C9 cave is wide, high and has a circular cross-section, gradually expanding from the South to the North. The cooled lava blocks, hidden between the basalt layers, have created a wild, mysterious landscape like a sedimentary painting of time.

Tourists cross the Nam Blang volcanic field to reach C9 cave in Nam Da commune.

Inside, visitors can admire countless lava rocks and volcanic bombs - vivid traces of lava flows. After millions of years of weathering and weathering, C9 cave possesses a unique beauty, both majestic and pristine.

From the mouth of C9 cave, at a height of more than 20 m, visitors will undergo a short training session before officially taking on the challenge of lowering the rope down into the cave.

Visitors are not allowed to visit C9 cave on their own, but must be guided by specialized staff or tour guides, supporting experts. This is to protect the area and ensure the safety of visitors.
