According to the forest fire warning information of the Department of Forestry and Forestry and the weather forecast of the Central Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from August 3 to August 6, 2025, the weather in the communes and wards of Ngoc Trao, Thach Binh, Xuan Du, Mau Lam, Nhu Thanh, Yen Tho, Thanh Ky, Xuan Thai, Ham Rong, Dong Son, Dong Tien, Hoang Tien, Hoang Phu, Hoang Giang, Sam Son, Tinh Gia, Ngoc Son, Tan Dan, Hai Linh, Dao Duy Tu, Hai Binh, Nghi Son, Cac Son, Truong Lam, Truc Lam, Ha Trung, Ha Long, Tong Son, Hoat Giang, Linh Toai, Trieu Loc, Dong Thanh, Hoa Loc, Van Loc will continue to be hot and dry for a long time, with no rain, with a risk of forest fires forecast at level III (High level), specifically as follows:
Characteristics of level III: Prolonged dry weather, forest fires are likely to occur and have the potential to spread over a large area.
Measures to organize PCCCR:
- The Chairman of the People's Committee of communes and wards directs the Steering Committee to implement the sustainable forestry development program, and the Forest Protection Department urges the implementation of forest fire prevention and control work by forest owners in the area.
- Regularly inspect key fire-prone areas; organize forest fire patrols 10/24 hours a day (from 10am to 8pm), paying special attention to peak hours. Forest owners must regularly inspect the guard force and the forest protection contract force, especially the forest planting force.
When a forest fire occurs, the Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune or ward mobilizes forces and means to participate in fire fighting; in case the forest fire is beyond the control of the commune, the neighboring communes and wards are requested to increase forces and means to support.
At the same time, report to the Provincial Steering Committee to have solutions to mobilize forces and equipment to support timely response. The Forest Protection Department forecasts and provides information on forest fire forecasts so that the People's Committees of communes, wards, and related agencies and units can proactively implement forest fire prevention and control measures in the area. Assign the Forest Protection and Violation Handling Department to monitor, urge, and summarize the results of forest fire prevention and control work to report to the Head of the Department and superiors according to regulations.
