Dak Lak plans to build 4 inter-level boarding schools

The Director of the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province and representatives of relevant departments, agencies and sectors have just conducted a survey of the construction site of the province's Primary - Secondary Boarding School.

In the border communes of Buon Don, Ia Lop, Ia Rve, Ea Bung, the delegation worked with local authorities to grasp the population situation, number of children and students at all levels; the current status of school facilities, classrooms, and auxiliary works of primary and secondary schools in the area; proposed the form and location for building a primary and secondary boarding school...

According to the report, in these communes there are currently 13 schools from primary to secondary level, including: 7 primary schools and 6 secondary schools with 4,387 students (2,509 primary school students, 1,878 secondary school students). The number of students studying 2 sessions/day is 3,852 (87.80%), including: 2,509 primary school students and 1,343 secondary school students.

After grasping the general situation, the delegation surveyed the actual location of the proposed construction of the Primary - Secondary Boarding School according to the proposal of the communes; checked the planning; preliminarily discussed the conditions related to the distance from home to school of students; plans to ensure the source of domestic water for students...

The survey team surveyed the location to upgrade the school to a Primary - Secondary Boarding School in Ia Lop commune, Dak Lak province.

According to the assessment of the survey team, the communes have basically prepared all the documents and information related to the construction of a primary and secondary boarding school for local children with 2 options: repairing and upgrading existing schools to limit waste of facilities; completely rebuilding at a new location in a systematic manner...

Surveying and assessing the local reality is one of the important steps contributing to the effective implementation of the Politburo 's policy on investing in the construction of 248 primary and secondary boarding schools in land border communes.

It is expected that Dak Lak province will build 4 primary and secondary boarding schools in 4 border communes (Buon Don, Ia Lop, Ia Rve, Ea Bung).
