Minh Vuong thanks Mr. Duc

Midfielder Tran Minh Vuong sent his gratitude to Mr. Duc as well as HAGL fans who have always accompanied him after nearly 18 years with the mountain town team.

“I would like to send my most sincere thanks to Mr. Duc. He is the one who gave me the opportunity to serve the team until today. I would like to thank the HAG fans who have always accompanied me during my youth. Although I did not achieve much success during that time, I hope that the youth of HAGL will achieve many successes and titles for the club,” Minh Vuong shared on his personal page on the morning of June 21.

Minh Vuong will say goodbye to HAGL after the 2024/25 season ends. The match against Quang Nam at Pleiku Stadium on the afternoon of June 21 will be the last match of the Thai Binh player with HAGL after 18 years of association. He sent his deep gratitude to Chairman Doan Nguyen Duc and the fans of the mountain town team. Although he had prepared himself mentally, Minh Vuong still could not hide his indescribable emotions.

“I was really prepared, but my mood right now is hard to describe. Today, after nearly 18 years with HAGL, I decided to leave. As I have shared many times, to have provisions for the future as well as experience in football work, I decided to leave,” he shared.

Minh Vuong affirmed that his departure was not to seek titles: “My departure was not to seek any titles or success. Because I know for sure that there is no title or success equal to the happiness and pride of playing for HAGL for all those years.”

The captain of the mountain town football team cherishes the feelings during nearly 2 decades of attachment to HAGL. “I am not sure if HAGL is my second home. But I am sure of one thing that from the day I entered HAGL until now, I have received help from my uncles, teachers, and seniors in the club. I have grown up to be who I am today thanks to HAGL. At HAGL, I feel very peaceful,” he concluded.

Minh Vuong's next destination is likely to be Binh Phuoc , an ambitious team in the South. In addition to the striker from Thai Binh, HAGL will say goodbye to Dung Quang Nho, Tran Bao Toan and Chau Ngoc Quang.
