Liverpool's terrifying lineup next season

Liverpool promises to be a very strong team next season.

Liverpool have already spent more than £200 million on new recruits this summer. The three signings of Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez give "The Kop" considerable flexibility in their squad arrangements. Coach Arne Slot has three tactical options to apply for next season, with promising combinations.

The 3-4-3 formation is a bold option for coach Slot to deploy. With the arrival of Marc Guehi, the central defender trio of Guehi, Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk form a solid defense. The strength of this arrangement lies on the wings.

Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez, both speedy full-backs with impressive attacking ability, will be deployed as wing-backs. Both can maximise their ability to get forward and attack deep into the opposition defence.

In the centre, the midfield duo of Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch will coordinate the play. Up front, Florian Wirtz will play on the left, Mohamed Salah on the right, while the centre forward position can be taken by Luis Diaz, who plays flexibly as a “false 9”. This formation creates a balance between attack and defence, making it difficult for opponents to predict.

If coach Slot wants to maintain stability, 4-3-3 is the ideal choice. This is the system that has brought great success to "The Kop" in recent seasons. A back four, possibly with Conor Bradley at right-back, will create solidity. A midfield three is expected to help Dominik Szoboszlai play well.

The most notable feature of this formation is the upgrade in attack. With Wirtz and Salah on both wings, Liverpool can increase their attack, and if they recruit a quality striker like Alexander Isak, they will have a real "killer". This combination makes it easy for Liverpool to overwhelm their opponents.

4-3-3 has been the ideal choice for Liverpool in recent seasons.

The final option, a 4-2-3-1 formation, is the choice to focus on Wirtz's talent. Instead of playing on the wing, Wirtz will play in the "number 10" position, acting as the conductor in every attack.

The centre-forward position could be given to Diogo Jota, while Cody Gakpo will play on the left flank and Salah on the right. This will be a creative attacking formation, with Wirtz at the centre of everything.

This system also opens up many other options, especially in case Alisson has problems, Liverpool can give goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili a chance.
