Number of visitors to Hanoi hits record high on September 2nd

Hanoi rose to the top of the list of domestic destinations most searched by Vietnamese tourists on the occasion of National Day, September 2.

This is according to the announcement on the travel platform Booking.com. The biggest attraction of the capital Hanoi is the series of vibrant activities and festivals, not only for individual tourists but also for families and groups of friends.

On the occasion of National Day this year, the number of international visitors to Noi Bai Airport, Hanoi is expected to reach a record, reaching nearly 110,000 passengers on the peak day. Noi Bai International Airport will implement enhanced level 1 aviation security control measures from August 26 to September 4, 2025.

At Hanoi bus stations, the number of passengers is also forecast to increase by 350%. The peak period is from August 28-30 on both departure and arrival directions. Hanoi Bus Station Joint Stock Company will increase the number of additional buses by 1,000 and work closely with authorities to handle overloaded buses and ticket prices higher than the regulated price.
