Information about the Lollypop Designathon 2023 competition

On September 23, the UI UX Design contest was held, attracting 146,000 views on social networks and many young people attending.

Lollypop Designathon 2023 is a unique 12-hour design hackathon. The playground is organized by Terralogic - a comprehensive IT and software development company in the world's top Inc.5000 2023, with Lollypop Design Studio as its representative in UI UX design.

This is an annual event of Lollypop and Terralogic to create a useful playground for young people to experience teamwork challenges with strangers. Through the competition, they can apply the knowledge they have learned to solve real-life problems through UI/UX design solutions.

The jury of the competition includes experts: Mr. Duong Vu - UI/UX Manager at Trusting Social; Mr. Duy Le (PhD) - Head of HCI Research Department at University of Science ; Mr. Trung Phan - Design Lecturer at Arena Multimedia. The jury always has enthusiastic and constructive comments, helping the teams learn many valuable lessons.

Opportunity to exchange and learn from potential UI UX Designers

The Lollypop Designathon 2023 competition provides young people with a playground to demonstrate their design talents and have many interesting opportunities to exchange and learn. Coming to Lollypop Designathon 2023, players nationwide will be able to exchange and team up with potential teammates to compete. This is not only a good opportunity for players to make new friends but also improve their ability to recognize their strengths and weaknesses. A contestant of the contest said: “ In the past, if I worked alone or with a group to have a quality project to post on Behance as a Portfolio, it would take about 1 month. But thanks to this contest, I realized that as long as I coordinate well with my teammates, we can still have a good enough foundation product in just 1 day .”

In addition, we cannot forget the contributions and useful advice from experts. After each presentation and listening to comments from the judges, the contestants will draw valuable lessons for themselves, thereby having more design ideas to upgrade the product better.

Lollypop Designathon 2023 helps shape future careers

During the competition, there will also be a talk show and an online workshop “Preparing for the Designathon 2023 Design Competition”. Here, you will be equipped with knowledge about the standard UI UX design process and have your questions answered about the competition.

Not only do students and young people participating in the contest have the opportunity to express themselves, but businesses and companies also seize the opportunity to find valuable members for their business.

The competition was a great success and contributed to fostering the spirit of daring to try and stepping out of the comfort zone for young people.
