The “Future Designer” Contest 2025 is organized by the Young Pioneers and Children Newspaper, designer Yen Nhi and other units; aiming to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2; the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification; the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh and to welcome the 10th National Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Children - 2025.

After two months of launching, the Organizing Committee received more than 1,000 entries from "child designers" aged 6 to 15 nationwide, including many children from remote provinces and ethnic minority students, and children with special health conditions.
The designs in the contest were all made with the same topic: "Imagine yourself as a delegate attending the 10th National Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Children and design an outfit expressing your love for your homeland and Vietnam to wear to the Congress."
The organizing committee has selected 50 entries to participate in the national final Gala night of the competition taking place on August 2nd, in Hanoi . Of these, 24 excellent entries will be supported to realize their designs and demonstrate their own products on the gala night stage.

The two Special Prizes of the competition were awarded to Nguyen Thi Thanh Thao (class 3E1, Archimedes Academy Primary School, Hanoi) and Nguyen Le Thuy Linh (class 6A3, Mao Khe II Secondary School, Quang Ninh ), who received certificates of merit from the Central Council of the Young Pioneers. In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded the First, Second, Third, and Fourth prizes, along with the prizes of “Promising”, “Impressive Design”, “Environmentally Friendly Design” and “Wings of Dreams” for outstanding ideas that convey positive messages and are creative and unique.
Sharing after winning the prize, Nguyen Le Thuy Linh said: “I had ideas for many different designs but finally chose the work “Canh Lac Khai Phong Ky Nguyen” to participate in the contest. I hope my work can spread many positive values about the image of contemporary Vietnamese costumes to everyone.”
Commenting on the winning works, designer Yen Ngo, a member of the Organizing Committee of the contest, said: “Each work is a separate story, reflecting the unique, soaring and sophisticated perspective of the “young painters” on the world around them. Through the program, the Organizing Committee hopes to inspire the spirit of learning and positive creativity in the children, expressing love for the homeland from the simple things around us.”
After the final gala night, all 24 excellent costumes of the competition will be auctioned. The proceeds will be donated to the “Library for Wings of Dreams” project initiated by the Young Pioneers and Children Newspaper, contributing to spreading the spirit of sharing and nurturing dreams to many disadvantaged children across the country.
