Mitsubishi Destinator test drive on Vietnamese roads revealed

On the morning of August 20, 1 month after its global launch in Indonesia, the first images in Vietnam of the Mitsubishi Destinator model were revealed during a road test.

The test car images in Vietnam have almost no difference in exterior compared to the version in Indonesia, bringing a solid and dynamic image of a real 7-seat SUV. The Dynamic Shield design language creates a classy and futuristic look for the car.

Some outstanding parameters and equipment of Destinator when launched in Indonesia:

• Vehicle dimensions: 4,680 x 1,840 x 1,780, ground clearance 244mm (excluding skid plate) highest in the segment.
• Destinator has a spacious 7-seat interior with 3 rows of seats. The optimal luggage area and smart amenities are conveniently located at every seat.

The car has a space from the passenger to the ceiling, comfortable legroom, suitable for all positions in the car. The seats in the car can be flexibly arranged for maximum storage space.

The Destinator interior features a 12.3-inch central display, an 8-inch driver display, and an intuitive interface. The Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium sound system provides a vivid sound experience.

• In terms of operation, Destinator is equipped with a new 1.5L Turbo engine, used globally, with a capacity of 161 horsepower, maximum torque of 250 Nm, for fast and powerful acceleration.

The vehicle is equipped with 5 driving modes: Normal, Wet, Gravel, Mud, Tarmac. The all-new Tarmac mode provides flexible, precise handling on winding asphalt roads.

With full ADAS features and AYC driving assistance features, the car provides outstanding safety on all roads.

The car is expected to launch in Vietnam later this year, with a competitive price in the C-SUV segment.

With a positive launch effect in Indonesia, Destinator promises to have a lot of potential to continue the influence of previous Xpander and Xforce models in Vietnam.
