In the evening, after making a fuss with Trang's client (Hoai Anh), Khanh called her as predicted. Trang picked up the phone and immediately affirmed that no matter what Khanh did, she was determined to break up and would not change her mind. However, Khanh suddenly threatened to commit suicide; he was standing on the bridge and would jump into the river if Trang did not come back to him.

"Without you, my life has no meaning," Khanh cried. "I want to see you, just one last time. If you can't see me, then come to my funeral."

Trang was very scared, worried that Khanh would be foolish enough to do it, so she tried to persuade him and promised to go see him. Mrs. Truc (Meritorious Artist Thanh Quy) knew about it and took Trang away. Seeing her granddaughter worried, she comforted her, thinking that Khanh was just threatening and wouldn't dare to do it for real.
