The 2025 Southeast Asian U.23 Championship will officially kick off in just a few days. Teams are determined to prevent U.23 Vietnam from achieving a hat-trick of championships, and of course U.23 Thailand is no exception.

The new head coach of Thailand U.23, Thawatchai Damrong-Ongtrakul, shocked everyone when he said bluntly: "The Vietnam U.23 team is having the best preparation for the 2025 Southeast Asian U.23 tournament.

It would not be surprising if coach Kim Sang-sik and his team would finish first in Group B - the two opponents U.23 Laos and U.23 Cambodia, despite their progress, are still no match for U.23 Vietnam - and they will wait for the host team U.23 Indonesia to do the same in Group A to avoid an early meeting.
