Vietnam - Japan Festival attracts thousands of tourists in Da Nang

On the evening of July 4, the 10th Vietnam - Japan Festival in Da Nang City in 2025 opened at Bien Dong Park (Da Nang City), attracting thousands of locals and tourists to come and enjoy the experience.

The 10th Vietnam - Japan Festival in Da Nang City in 2025 takes place from July 4 to 6 with a series of exciting and attractive activities.

This is a typical foreign cultural event, held annually in Da Nang since 2014. After 10 years of organization, the festival has become a strong bridge in the friendly relationship between Vietnam and Japan in general, as well as between Da Nang City and Japanese localities, businesses and organizations in particular.

This year, the festival offers many attractive programs such as the art exchange between the two countries taking place every night with special activities such as Bon Odori exchange and Vietnamese bamboo dance, the final round of the Cosplay cartoon character costume contest... along with special art performances by more than 100 artists from the two countries.

In addition, various sports exchange activities are also organized such as wrestling performances, Japanese baseball experiences, and soccer classes for Da Nang teenagers.

Notably, the Vietnam - Japan friendly football match with the participation of teams such as Kawasaki Frontale Club, SHB Da Nang Club... hosted by Takara Company and Da Nang University of Architecture promises to attract the attention of many people and tourists.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi - Deputy Chairwoman of the Da Nang City People's Committee - emphasized that this year's festival takes place at a time of special significance when the new Da Nang City has just been established after the merger of Quang Nam province and the old Da Nang City.

"This event not only marks the beginning of a new development phase for the city, but also creates more opportunities for cooperation and exchange between the new city of Da Nang and Japanese partners and localities," said Ms. Exam.

Along with cultural activities, the festival is also a highlight to promote investment, trade, education, employment, and tourism through conferences, seminars, and networking activities between Vietnamese and Japanese businesses.

This is an opportunity for Da Nang and Japanese partners to look back on the past 10 years of cooperation and orient sustainable development in the new period.
