Unique cultural festival in the middle of the jungle

(CLO) On March 12, in Krong Na commune, Buon Don district, Dak Lak province, the Buon Don Elephant Festival 2025 was held. This is also one of a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Buon Ma Thuot Victory, liberating Dak Lak province (March 10, 1975 - March 10, 2025).

The Buon Don Elephant Festival 2025 is an attractive activity within the " Tourism Journey" of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2025, aiming to introduce the cultural and ecological tourism potentials of Buon Don district and Dak Lak province in general to friends and tourists inside and outside the province.

The Elephant Festival aims to honor the role of elephants in the cultural and economic life of local people, while demonstrating the connection between humans and nature. This is one of the outstanding events, attracting the attention of domestic and foreign tourists, who can explore the unique cultural features of ethnic groups in Buon Don district through a special art program.

The organizers scored and awarded the first prize to elephant H'Khun, the second prize to elephant Kham Got and the third prize to elephant Kham Sinh with beautiful makeup.
