Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2024 takes place from June 8 to July 13

DNO - The City People's Committee has just issued a plan to organize the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF 2024).

Accordingly, DIFF 2024 is organized by the City People's Committee; the Department of Culture and Sports is the executive unit; the city's departments, branches, sectors and localities coordinate;Sun Group Corporation, Thoi Dai Trade and Media Corporation are the implementing units; Global 2000 International Company is the fireworks display consultant.

DIFF 2024 has the theme "Made in Unity - Global Connection - Radiant Five Continents", taking place from June 8 to July 13.

The fireworks display location is at the Han River port area; the stands and stage are located on the sidewalk of Tran Hung Dao Street, opposite the performance area on the foundation of the stage used at previous DIFFs.

Ancillary activities are expected to spread across the city, including spaces on both sides of the Han River, festival stages, and along main roads.

DIFF 2024 has 8 participating teams from France, Italy, USA, Germany, Poland, Finland, China and the host team Da Nang, Vietnam.

The teams will have 5 performance nights including: the first night taking place on June 8 will be the performance of the host team Da Nang (Vietnam) and the French team with the theme "Honoring traditional culture".

The second night took place on June 15 with the participation of teams from Italy and the US with the theme “Wish for Nature”;

The third night took place on June 22 with the participation of two teams from Germany and Poland with the theme “Inspiration of love/friendship”.

The fourth night took place on June 29 with the participation of two teams from China and Finland with the theme “Fairy Tale”.

The final night took place on July 13 with the theme "For the future generation".

Each participating team will perform for about 20-22 minutes according to the theme of DIFF 2024.

The winning team will receive a prize of 20,000 USD, a trophy and a certificate; the runner-up team will receive a prize of 10,000 USD, a trophy and a certificate; the most favorite team voted by the audience will receive a prize of 5,000 USD and a certificate.

Performances will be evaluated based on the idea, diversity and theme of the performance; the richness, variety of colors, uniqueness and quality of the performance, the scale and number of effects; the synchronization and coordination between the sound and images of fireworks; adherence to the theme and expressing the theme of DIFF 2024.
