Attending the ceremony were Senior Lieutenant General Le Chiem, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Deputy Minister of National Defense ; Major General Tran Thanh Hai, Deputy Commander of Military Region 5; Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of U Huan province; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Duc Tuy; Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Y Ngoc.
Together with comrades in the Provincial Party Standing Committee; former provincial leaders of all periods; comrades representing leaders of departments, branches, Van Tuong commune, and cadres and soldiers who participated in leading and fighting to create the Van Tuong Victory.
The Van Tuong Victory Museum currently displays 132 photo documents, 56 artifacts and many documents about the battles that led to the Van Tuong Victory in 1965. The artifacts are arranged according to each theme, helping to tell a consistent story about the victory.
The exhibition space is divided into many areas: an area introducing the background, causes and developments of the battle; an area honoring exemplary fighters; an area recreating the battlefield with many vivid models and dioramas. In addition, the museum also preserves many memorabilia of the soldiers, from weapons, military uniforms to letters and diaries stained by time.
Quang Ngai province has invested in renovating and embellishing the Van Tuong Victory Museum, part of the Van Tuong Victory Memorial Sites national relic site. The items include: renovating the exhibition house, renovating and rearranging the exhibition system; replacing the sound and lighting systems and renovating and upgrading other auxiliary items such as fences, gates, and gardens within the current premises of the Van Tuong Victory Museum.
This is one of the red addresses in the journey back to the source, educating revolutionary traditions for the young generation, and at the same time becoming a highlight in the development of historical and cultural tourism of the province.
