MV "Tien Quan Ca" is a project of violinist Trinh Minh Hien in collaboration with the Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts.

The album "Lập rung vàng sao" has been cherished by violinist Trinh Minh Hien for a long time, and when she started working on it, she felt like she was in a hurry. Not a hurry because of the pressing time, but a hurry because of the heartbeat, because of the urge that she could not wait any longer to speak up. During the days when the country was joyfully celebrating National Day on September 2, that passionate flame burned brighter than ever.

"Lập tình vàng sao" was born as a moment when the heart had to speak, when the melodies of the revolutionary songs flowed, overflowing as in the album's dedication, she wrote: "For me, revolutionary music is closely linked to the fate of the nation. I am passionate about every melody of the Fatherland, and paint patriotism with the sound of the violin. Blending in with the crowd, I saw the country as a strip, sparkling with golden stars".

The cover of the MV "Nguoi Ha Noi " was elaborately created by Violinist Trinh Minh Hien.

Poet - musician Nguyen Dinh Thi in his work "Nguoi Ha Noi" once wrote: "The sky is full of golden stars"; musician Van Cao in "Song Lo" left the lyrics "the waves are sparkling with golden stars, thousands of soldiers of Song Lo". The images have become symbols, like halos of memories blending together, lighting up in the mind of artist Trinh Minh Hien the inspiration to name this special Revolutionary music album.

For Trinh Minh Hien, "sparkling" is a metaphor for millions of invisible medals, silently pinned on the chests of Vietnamese people who fought steadfastly and sacrificed for the independence of those who "were determined to die for the Fatherland".

The album "Lập tình vàng sao" will be released from August 19, 2025 on 58 digital platforms in more than 200 countries and territories, as an artistic tribute to the public on the country's important occasion.

The album "Lap linh vang sao" is a deep gratitude that artist Trinh Minh Hien sent to the veterans - both those who are still alive and those who have become immortal. "Vang sao" only evokes the image of the red flag with a yellow star - the sacred and immortal symbol of the country, and also reminds us of the moment when Uncle Ho read the Declaration of Independence at the historic Ba Dinh Square. Until today, that flag still flies proudly, carrying the aspirations of power, the indomitable spirit and the pride of many generations of Vietnamese people.

Through the work, the female violinist conveys her belief in the future of the next generations with their heads held high. This is a musical connection so that stories are told in the language of melody, blending classical and contemporary. Through this, Trinh Minh Hien contributes to honoring the artistic value of Revolutionary music while setting a guideline for the new generation of composers so that music is always a bridge connecting the past with the present.

All the songs were arranged for the violin and other accompanying instruments, spreading the revolutionary music from the heroic, exciting call to battle into a calm flow. In each note, the listener can find both the magnanimity of a time of fire and bullets and the gentleness, simplicity, and depth.

The album "Lap linh vang sao" includes 9 works, including 8 typical instrumental pieces of revolutionary music. These are compositions that have left a strong mark in Vietnamese music, specially arranged for violin by artist Trinh Minh Hien. The number 8 both reminds us of the 80th anniversary of National Day and is a profound gratitude to generations of Vietnamese people across the country who fought and sacrificed for independence and freedom.

The female artist always shows talent and sublimation in music.

From the beloved midlands (My Hometown) to the splendid Capital (Hanoi People), from the sunny and windy Central region (My dear Quang Binh ) to the magnificent plateau (The girl sharpening spikes), from the indomitable South (Grateful to Ms. Vo Thi Sau) to the fierce battlefield (Song by the Hammock), from the image of the Father of the nation Ho Chi Minh (Ho Chi Minh Song Medley) to the joyful day of reunification (The Country is Full of Joy) - each melody expresses in a passionate, hearty, and vivid way the history, the common memory of the whole nation.

The album also has a new song, "Bien Song" written about Truong Sa soldiers, composed by artist - musician Trinh Minh Hien. This is her first composition about soldiers at the forefront of the waves in peacetime, always ready to sacrifice in all circumstances to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands.

The works are arranged in chronological order, from 1945 to 2025, forming a musical journey through 80 years of the country gaining and maintaining independence. All 9 works were recorded live in the studio, mainly in an acoustic style. The band lineup is arranged from small to large: from a solo violin (Nguoi Ha Noi - the opening piece) to a full band (Bien Song - the closing piece).

The album "Lap linh vang sao" includes 9 works, including 8 typical instrumental pieces of Revolutionary music. These are compositions that have left a strong mark in Vietnamese music, arranged by artist Trinh Minh Hien specifically for violin.

Classical, semi-classical, pop, world music, and country music elements are skillfully combined and interwoven, creating new nuances for already familiar works.

Along with the violin concert album Vol.2 "Lap linh vang sao" (Vol.1 is "Phuong Linh"), artist-musician Trinh Minh Hien officially released the MV "Nguoi Ha Noi", the opening work for the album. The MV was made on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, continuing the impression from the arrangement of "Tien Quan Ca" in 2022. This time, "Nguoi Ha Noi" was arranged by Trinh Minh Hien for solo violin, keeping the original melody but incorporating many sophisticated classical violin techniques, such as: clamping, free cadenza, tremolo, left-hand pizzicato...

The MV "Hanoi People" exploits the quiet yet enduring beauty of the people and landscapes of the Capital.

While the music clearly shows the solo arrangement style that has become Trinh Minh Hien's artistic mark, the visual part opens a new experimental step. The MV was made by Italian director Gianmarco Maccabruno Giommetti - her familiar collaborator in many previous projects, and also the one who proposed the special idea for the MV celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day.

The entire crew spent days wandering around the city to select typical representatives of today's Hanoi lifestyle, the spirit of new Hanoians, and preserve valuable images of the old generation... From an international perspective, the MV becomes a modern "visual dictionary" of Hanoi and the pace of life here, both to send to tourists and to make every Hanoian love and be proud of this thousand-year-old land of culture.

Besides the album "Golden Star Shining" and the MV "Nguoi Ha Noi", artist Trinh Minh Hien also became the first artist to collaborate with the Museum of Fine Arts in an MV project and the first MV is "Tien Quan Ca" released on the occasion of National Day September 2.

Musician Trinh Minh Hien devotes much effort to composing and arranging.

In 2022, artist Trinh Minh Hien released the MV "Tien Quan Ca" as a solo music product, also to celebrate the 77th National Day. With this collaboration, the recording of Tien Quan Ca was re-recorded with a different meaning: Introducing the beauty of the Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts and the works of art in it. The opening of the MV quotes President Ho Chi Minh reading the Declaration of Independence on September 2, 1945.

The image left the mark of Trinh Minh Hien with "Golden Stars".

On the background of the single violin solo, the images of the works of art appear magnificently, heroically, solemnly, especially the 9 National Treasures (6 paintings and 3 sculptures), such as: "Party Admission in Dien Bien Phu" (Nguyen Sang); "Em Thuy" (Tran Van Can); " Two Young Women and a Baby" (To Ngoc Van); "Uncle Ho in the Viet Bac War Zone" (Duong Bich Lien); "Binh Phong" (Nguyen Gia Tri); "Giong" (Nguyen Tu Nghiem)... These treasures are both excellent works of art and artifacts of great historical and cultural value, expressing the identity and depth of the Vietnamese people.

Italian director Gianmarco Maccabruno Giometti was also honored to be invited to collaborate in this special project. In 2023, he was a director who collaborated with Artist Trinh Minh Hien to produce the MV "The Country Full of Joy" and was introduced by the Italian Embassy in Vietnam in a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of official diplomatic relations between Italy and Vietnam (1973-2023). This time, from an artistic perspective and love for Vietnam, the artist has excellently performed his role as a director, cinematographer, and image editor for the MV "Tien Quan Ca".
