Strengthening consulting and orientation for labor export for students
Many opportunities for young workers
With more than 70% of the province's laborers working abroad under contracts, Japan is a key market attracting Tay Ninh 's laborers (according to statistics from 2020 to present). Japan is highly appreciated for its professional working environment and good welfare regime.
Vo Minh Tien (living in Hau Nghia commune) is one of the young workers preparing to go to Japan to work in the mechanical industry. After studying vocational training and Japanese at Esuhai Company Limited, Tien has completed his documents and is ready for a new journey.
“I am very excited but also quite nervous. Because this is a great opportunity for me to learn, gain experience, and improve my skills. I believe that the working environment in Japan will help me mature more, and after returning home, I can continue to contribute to the locality” - Tien shared.
Faced with the increasing demands of the international labor market, the province focuses on promoting vocational training and orientation education for workers wishing to work abroad.
In addition to vocational skills, workers are also equipped with foreign languages, legal knowledge, customs, practices and life skills suitable for the host country's environment.
In addition, localities implement preferential credit policies, support study costs, health check-ups, application procedures and foreign language learning for students.
Continuing education institutions regularly coordinate with businesses to organize career orientation counseling, introduce market information, recruitment conditions and commitments to ensure employee rights.
Nguyen Phuc An (living in An Ninh commune) is studying Japanese at Long An Vocational College - Duc Hoa campus, confided: "At first, I studied Japanese because I loved Japanese culture. After being advised by teachers, I realized that this is a very practical direction and am trying every day to qualify for the technical intern program."
Not only Japan, currently, many other labor markets such as Korea, Australia, Taiwan,... also have a great demand for young human resources.
These markets are highly regarded for their working conditions, stable income levels and clear welfare policies.
Create high quality labor resources
According to Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs Nguyen Dai Tanh, recently, communication, counseling and career orientation work for workers, especially students at vocational training institutions, has been regularly implemented.
Every year, the Department coordinates with enterprises, labor export companies and localities to organize consulting and propaganda programs on policies, benefits and conditions for participating in labor export; focusing on consulting and career orientation for students to help them prepare appropriately according to their abilities and actual conditions.
Currently, Tay Ninh has more than 1.7 million workers, including about 100,000 students who have graduated at all levels. This is an abundant resource that, if well-oriented, can meet recruitment requirements in many international markets.
Therefore, the province is making efforts to coordinate vocational schools, job service centers and businesses to provide training according to demand, enhancing practical skills and integration capacity for workers.
In recent times, the number of workers going abroad to work under contracts has increased every year, and the quality of workers has improved.
Many workers have had better lives after returning from working abroad. This is not only a short-term solution to employment but also a long-term direction, contributing to building a high-quality workforce, meeting the requirements of sustainable socio-economic development of the locality./.
