With a comprehensive economic model, veteran Lu Dinh Khang in Tinh Gia ward has become a shining example in local economic development.
Small in stature but agile and active, his face covered in sweat from working on sunny days. That was the first impression when we met veteran Lu Dinh Khang in Tinh Gia ward. Starting the story with us about the years of building his career, Mr. Khang shared: “My life is attached to the fields, so I decided to get rich from the local fields. Since 1992, after researching and finding that fish fry is an easy-to-raise and easy-to-consumer product, I decided to start a business with this model. After 8 years of raising fish fry and meat effectively, the consumption market slowed down, I decided to change my business direction. Still clinging to the agricultural roots left by my ancestors, I switched to raising ducks and geese in large quantities.”
The turning point marked a change in the economic development of CCB Lu Dinh Khang when he boldly raised pigs in large numbers from 400 - 500. In addition, he also raised buffaloes, cows, pigeons, chickens, ducks, and snails for breeding and commercial snails. In his old age, despite having a surplus economy, CCB Lu Dinh Khang still did not rest. Every day, he and his wife worked diligently and diligently. From his efforts and persistent working hands, the comprehensive economic model of CCB Lu Dinh Khang has yielded sweet fruit with an income of 500 - 600 million VND in profit per year.
Growing up with the sea, no matter where he goes or what he does, in the end, veteran Le Van Thap in Tien Trang commune still chooses to return to the sea to make a living. Starting from the rafts he invested in for fishermen in the commune to sail out to sea, to purchasing all the seafood they caught to process and sell, his products are trusted by many customers so the consumption output is increasing. From the saved capital, after many years of struggling and working hard in the profession, in 2010 veteran Le Van Thap decided to establish Thap Thuan Phat Company Limited with him as the director.
“I process whatever is available in the sea, so the company's products are quite diverse, including fish, shrimp, mussels, squid, fish sauce, jellyfish... Thanks to strict adherence to the processing process, the company's products are increasingly affirming their brand, the market is not only limited to the province but gradually expanding to other provinces and cities," Mr. Thap shared.
Realizing that the number of tourists from within and outside the province coming to his hometown's sea area is increasing. Quickly seizing this opportunity, Mr. Thap gradually shifted from purchasing and processing seafood to doing tourism business. With the motto "taking prestige and quality as top priority", his company's tourism service area is increasingly attracting a large number of tourists to relax and eat. Profit of more than 1 billion VND/year is a great success of CCB Le Van Thap in innovating and improving business capacity, dominating the tourism market amidst fierce competition to assert himself.
