Leaders of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee visited the families of victims of the scaffolding collapse in Ninh An commune.

On the afternoon of September 21, a serious work accident occurred in Ninh An commune, Hoa Lu district, killing two people. In response to this incident, Comrade Tran Song Tung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited the victim's family and directed the work to overcome the consequences.

Also attending were leaders of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Hoa Lu district.

Visiting the victim's family in Xuan Mai village, Ninh An commune, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Song Tung expressed his deep condolences to the victim's family and relatives, hoping that the family would soon stabilize their spirit and overcome their grief to organize the funeral for the deceased. He also gave financial support to the family; at the same time, he requested the local Party Committee, government, and neighbors to promptly care for and provide spiritual and material support to help the victim's family stabilize their lives.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, together with relevant agencies and local authorities, inspected the scene of the scaffolding collapse in Ninh An commune, Hoa Lu district; requested relevant agencies to promptly intervene, urgently investigate, clarify the cause, clarify the responsibilities of relevant organizations and individuals, and strictly handle violations (if any) according to the law.

The scene of the incident.

The incident occurred at around 2:30 p.m. on September 21, in Xuan Mai hamlet, Ninh An commune, Hoa Lu district. While a group of workers were cleaning up the concrete roof area at the construction site of a steel-frame factory in the area, the scaffolding collapsed.

According to initial information, Mr. D.XK, born in 1989, residing in Hamlet 6, Xuan Dai Commune, Xuan Truong District, Nam Dinh , residing in Xuan Mai Village, Ninh An Commune, hired Mr. TVL and 2 workers to pour concrete on a concrete scaffolding about 3.5m high.

At the above mentioned time, after the concrete was poured and 9 people were cleaning up below, the concrete scaffolding collapsed, crushing 4 people including: Mr. TVL, Mr. D.XK, Mr. NVT (Mr. K's father-in-law), Mr. D.XC (Mr. K's father). As a result, Mr. TVL died on the spot, Mr. D.XK, Mr. NVT, Mr. D.XC were injured and taken to the hospital for emergency treatment, then Mr. D.XK died at the hospital.

Hoa Lu District Police are coordinating with specialized units of Ninh Binh Provincial Police, functional agencies, and local authorities to examine the scene, conduct an autopsy, and conduct investigative activities according to regulations.
