Ho Chi Minh City leaders offered incense to commemorate heroic martyrs on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

This morning (August 30), on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the delegation of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, led by Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang, visited and offered incense and flowers to commemorate the heroic martyrs and heroic Vietnamese mothers.

At the Ho Chi Minh City Martyrs Cemetery (Nameless Hill, Long Binh Ward), the delegation respectfully laid a wreath with the inscription: "The City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City forever remember the heroic martyrs".

The delegation observed a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs and heroic Vietnamese mothers, expressing their infinite gratitude to the people, cadres and soldiers who fought and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.

After the incense and flower offering ceremony, the delegates went to each grave to burn incense in memory and gratitude.

After visiting the Ho Chi Minh City Martyrs' Cemetery, the delegation offered incense, laid wreaths, and paid tribute to generations of leaders, elders, and revolutionary predecessors who made great contributions to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland at the Ho Chi Minh City Cemetery (Lac Canh, Linh Xuan Ward).
