Leaders of Ha Tinh province participate in Tet tree planting in localities

Provincial leaders believe that the "Tet Tree Planting" movement in 2024 in Ha Tinh will continue to achieve many good results, contributing to ensuring the environment from urban to rural areas.

On the morning of February 15, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Trung Dung, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission Ha Van Trong and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau attended the launching ceremony of "Tree Planting Festival to forever remember Uncle Ho" in the spring of Giap Thin 2024 in Can Loc district.

At the launching ceremony of the Tree Planting Festival in Luong Hoi village, Khanh Vinh Yen commune, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Trung Dung and Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission Ha Van Trong, along with representatives of departments, branches, Can Loc district, and local people planted nearly 100 purple Bauhinia trees on the village roads.

At the launching ceremony of the Tet tree planting campaign in Hoa Thinh village, Thien Loc commune, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau, leaders of departments, branches, Can Loc district and people planted 150 purple Bauhinia trees on the road to Huong Tich Pagoda tourist area.

After planting, the trees are watered and carefully cared for to ensure growth and development.

According to the plan, in the spring of Giap Thin 2024, Can Loc district strives to plant more than 228,500 trees...

... including 5,500 shade trees (including purple ban, mango, dracontomelon, black star) and 223,000 forestry trees.

Also on the morning of February 15, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung, Secretary of the City Party Committee Duong Tat Thang and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Tran Van Ky attended the launching ceremony of "Tree Planting Festival to forever remember Uncle Ho" in the spring of Giap Thin 2024 in Ha Tinh City.

Promoting tree planting, since 2020, Ha Tinh City has launched the 100,000 tree program, and has so far planted more than 96,000 trees. According to the plan, in 2024, Ha Tinh City will plant more than 13,000 new trees of all kinds along the city's roads; in public parks and flower gardens; and in the grounds of headquarters...

The main types of trees grown are Lagerstroemia, purple Bauhinia, wind chime, coconut, magnolia... and some other shade trees.
