Provincial leaders attend Buddha's Birthday Festival 2023

On June 2, at Sung An Pagoda, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in the province organized the 2023 Buddha's Birthday Celebration, Buddhist year 2567. Attending were comrades: Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Van Binh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; and representatives of leaders of departments, branches, districts, and cities; Venerables of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province, districts, cities, and monks, nuns, Buddhists, and local people.

At the ceremony, Most Venerable Thich Hanh The, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province, called on all monks, nuns, and Buddhists of all levels to make efforts to do good deeds and actively contribute to the country's development. Venerable monks, nuns at all levels of the Sangha, Vietnamese Buddhists at home and abroad, continue to unite and join hands to contribute to the Bodhisattva vow, to be dignified and serve humanity, and to live a good life and practice the Dharma.

Comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council presented flowers to congratulate the Provincial Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee on the occasion of the Buddha's Birthday in 2023.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee sent his best wishes to all monks, nuns and Buddhists to celebrate the Buddha's birthday in peace and harmony. He highly appreciated the Buddhist activities in the province in recent times, which have made positive contributions to mobilizing monks, Buddhists and people to unite and help each other develop the economy, do a good job of gratitude, humanity, charity, social security, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic development goals and tasks, and fostering the great national unity bloc in the province. He hoped that in the coming time, the Executive Committee would continue to guide monks, nuns and Buddhists to actively respond to and participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns launched by the Fatherland Front at all levels, contributing to building Ninh Thuan homeland more and more prosperous and beautiful.
