Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong briefly introduced Hue's socio -economic achievements and development potential to the business community in Australia.

Also attending were representatives of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs ; Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, member of the City Party Committee, Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the City People's Council; Mr. Ha Van Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Hue City People's Council.

This is the opening activity in a series of programs promoting Vietnamese localities in Australia in 2025 organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs .

At the meeting, Mr. Tran Ba ​​Phuc, Chairman of VBAA, introduced the Vietnamese community in Australia, the activities of the association and typical businesses. Mr. Phuc emphasized that the Vietnamese business community in Australia always wants to contribute to the development of the homeland. At the same time, he suggested that localities in Vietnam create favorable conditions for connection, support overseas Vietnamese businesses to learn about the investment environment and implement quick procedures.

“VBAA will be an effective bridge between Australian businesses and partners with Hue City in particular and Vietnamese localities in general in the coming time,” Mr. Phuc affirmed.

Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong expressed his deep gratitude for the warm welcome of VBAA for the delegation. Mr. Phuong also briefly introduced the socio-economic achievements and development potential of Hue City to the business community in Australia.

Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong pledged that the city government will always accompany and provide maximum support to investors and businesses from the time of learning about the investment environment to the stage of commercializing products. In particular, Mr. Phuong also emphasized the creation of maximum convenience in administrative procedures with the spirit of speed, transparency and efficiency. The city government is ready to dialogue and directly contact to listen and remove difficulties and obstacles in the investment process in Hue.

Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong presented a souvenir to the representative of the Vietnam Business Association in Australia after the working session.

Mr. Phuong also appreciated the practical support of VBAA for Vietnamese localities in recent times and hoped that the association would continue to promote and introduce Australian businesses, especially Victoria state - where many successful businesses in the fields of investment, trade and logistics come to study investment cooperation in Hue.

The Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee expressed his wish that businesses would promote the export of Hue specialties and handicraft products to the Australian market, contributing to promoting the Hue brand and culture abroad.

Also during the meeting, representatives of some Hue City enterprises such as Saigon Hue Investment Joint Stock Company, LEC Group Joint Stock Company, Chan May Port Joint Stock Company, Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company, IMG Hue Investment Joint Stock Company... introduced their activities, strengths as well as cooperation orientation with partners in Australia in the coming time.

Immediately after the activities in Victoria state, the Hue City delegation continued their journey to Hobart city, Tasmania state to carry out the next activities in the program to promote Vietnamese localities in Australia in 2025 organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
