For the first time, Ho Chi Minh City has a traditional fish sauce festival.

The traditional fish sauce festival will take place at Tax Trade Center (old) - 141 Nguyen Hue (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), lasting from October 23 to October 27. The event is organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Food and Foodstuff Association, the Vietnam Traditional Fish Sauce Association in collaboration with many other organizations.

According to the organizers, the event not only honors fish sauce - the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine - but also has many activities to promote traditional fish sauce products to domestic and foreign consumers and international friends.

In particular, the festival has the participation of diplomatic agencies, chefs and culinary experts from around the world, opening up opportunities to bring traditional Vietnamese fish sauce closer to the international market, building a national brand for Vietnamese fish sauce.

In addition to the exhibition booths, the festival will have activities introducing the history and production process of traditional fish sauce, the value of the craft village's heritage, as well as the important role of fish sauce in Vietnamese culinary culture and life.

Another highlight of the festival is the space to experience the journey of Vietnamese fish sauce. Here, the fish sauce production process in each region will be simulated in detail. The space combines the display of typical products, tools and ingredients, helping visitors better understand the process of making traditional fish sauce.

In addition, the festival also introduces innovative applications and technology in fish sauce processing. The regional culinary area will serve dishes using fish sauce, using fish sauce in processing, bringing diners unique and attractive flavor experiences right at the event.

In addition to commercial and culinary activities, the festival also organizes many talk shows and forums gathering leading experts in the culinary and fish sauce production industries, contributing to shaping the future of the traditional Vietnamese fish sauce industry on the world map.
