(LĐ online) - From July 1, along with other localities nationwide, new administrative units in Lam Ha district officially came into operation, marking an important turning point in the process of reorganizing the local government system. Up to now, the preparation work has been basically completed, ready for the operation of the new apparatus according to the two-level government model.

Provincial leaders hand over decisions on personnel work to new communes in Lam Ha

After the reorganization, Lam Ha district was reduced from 16 communes and towns to 6 commune-level administrative units including: Dinh Van Lam Ha, Phu Son Lam Ha, Nam Ha Lam Ha, Nam Ban Lam Ha, Tan Ha Lam Ha and Phuc Tho Lam Ha. Before the official operation, the locality focused on reviewing all state management records, citizen data and procedures related to handover, reception, renaming of administrative units and legal seals.

At the Da Don Commune People's Committee Headquarters, the working atmosphere in the last days of June took place urgently and responsibly. Comrade Che Phuong Nam - Secretary of the Da Don Commune Party Committee said that, implementing the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Da Don Commune merged with Phu Son Commune to take the new administrative unit name of Phu Son Lam Ha Commune. With the attention of the District Party Committee, the Party Committees of the two communes coordinated to complete the review of books, finances, party member records and administrative data in accordance with regulations, creating a solid foundation for the operation of the new apparatus.

Affirming the spirit of readiness to accept new tasks after July 1, comrade Hoang Son - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Ha district shared: "The process of implementing the tasks of the new administrative unit certainly cannot avoid initial difficulties. However, with high determination and support from all walks of life, the locality will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, the results, valuable experiences and good traditions of generations of cadres through the periods to build the political system from the commune to the affiliated Party cells increasingly strong, operating effectively and efficiently in the new situation".

On the basis of merging 4 communes including Tan Ha, Dan Phuong, Hoai Duc, Lien Ha, the Tan Ha Lam Ha Party Committee, term I, 2025 - 2030, was established. Accordingly, immediately after the conference announcing decisions on district-level cadre work on June 25, the Executive Committee of the Tan Ha Lam Ha Commune Party Committee held a conference to deploy specific work contents including approving working regulations, perfecting Party committees and specialized agencies; establishing the Office of the People's Council - People's Committee, the Commune Public Administration Service Center; approving resolutions on socio -economic development, ensuring national defense - security, and building the political system in the last 6 months of the year. Along with that, the Standing Committee of the Tan Ha Lam Ha Commune People's Council has also begun to prepare contents to serve the upcoming People's Council meeting.

One-stop department is complete and ready to serve the people.

As a person who used to hold important positions in the leadership of Lam Ha district and is now retired, however, for veteran cadres in general and for Mr. Tran Thanh Phuong - former Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Lam Ha district in particular, they always follow the development of the locality. Expecting a historic change in the country, Mr. Phuong said that streamlining the apparatus is a correct strategic policy. And retired cadres have great confidence in the Party's policies and decisions with the aim of strongly streamlining the apparatus and being closer to the people, closer to the people and serving the people better.

“The reorganization of administrative units not only aims to streamline the apparatus and improve operational efficiency, but also helps save budget expenditures, allocate investment resources for health, education, infrastructure and livelihoods, especially for ethnic minority people. The important thing is that after the merger, we expect the new apparatus to operate smoothly and effectively, with staff arranged reasonably, without causing major disruptions and promoting the spirit of solidarity, stability, upholding the principle of being for the people, all for the development of the locality and meeting the expectations of the people,” Mr. Phuong shared.

In the final days before officially switching to the new model, Lam Ha district's Party Committee and government are rushing to complete assigned tasks, closing a journey and laying the foundation for a new development phase that is streamlined, effective and closer to the people.
