Celebrating 20 years of establishment of Thanh Hoa Provincial Tourism Association

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the afternoon of August 9, the Provincial Tourism Association (HHDL) solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate its 20th anniversary (2005 - 2025). This is an important milestone recognizing the efforts and contributions of HHDL, and at the same time, an opportunity for the Thanh Hoa tourism industry to affirm its determination to innovate and improve service quality, contributing to making tourism truly become the growth engine of the province in the new period.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Nguyen Van Thi, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Tourism Development Steering Committee; provincial departments and branches; representatives of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Vietnam Tourism Association; and many members, businesses and units operating in the tourism sector.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial Tourism Association Le Xuan Thao emphasized that over the past 20 years of establishment and development, the Thanh Hoa Tourism Association has continuously grown in size, capacity and position. Up to now, it has gathered more than 200 member enterprises and organizations operating in many service and tourism fields throughout the province. Along with that, specialized associations have been established such as: Tour Guide Association, Chef Association, Travel Association, Hai Tien Sea Tourism Association, Pu Luong Community Tourism Association, Quang Xuong Tourism Association... From there, a cohesive network with a common voice in the provincial tourism business community was formed.

Over the past 20 years, with the motto "Solidarity - Innovation - Integration", the Association has gathered and united businesses and individuals operating in the tourism sector, forming a unified bloc, proactively advising and proposing to all levels and sectors many mechanisms and policies for tourism development; organizing programs to promote and advertise the image of Thanh Hoa tourism to domestic and foreign tourists. The Association also plays the role of a bridge between the government and businesses, between businesses and businesses, contributing to improving service quality, diversifying tourism products, expanding the market and building an increasingly attractive Thanh Hoa tourism brand.

The Association has made an important contribution to the success of major events such as: Receiving the certificate of recognition of the Ho Dynasty Citadel as a World Cultural Heritage in 2013, National Tourism Year 2015... Along with that are annual events such as Sam Son, Hai Tien, Hai Hoa Sea Tourism Festival; Pu Luong Culture - Tourism Week; Lam Kinh Festival; North Central Tourism Connection Conference... creating a ripple effect, attracting millions of visitors each year.

In his congratulatory speech, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thi acknowledged and highly appreciated the important contributions of HHDL over the past 20 years, contributing positively to the overall development of Thanh Hoa tourism industry. He suggested that in the coming time, the Association continue to strengthen its organization, expand its network, develop new members, improve the quality of activities of the Association and its affiliated branches. At the same time, promote the role of a bridge between the State and enterprises; proactively coordinate with management agencies to remove difficulties for tourism enterprises. Focus on improving competitiveness, aiming at sustainable and professional tourism development. In addition, closely coordinate with departments, branches and localities in building new products and renewing existing products.

At the same time, it affirmed that the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee always pay attention, accompany and create all favorable conditions for HHDL and the business community to develop sustainably; build a transparent, effective and healthy competitive tourism business environment.
