At the 9th session, term IV, the Dak Nong Provincial People's Council will review and discuss 19 reports, projects, and draft resolutions submitted by the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee related to the fields of economy, finance, budget, development investment, culture, education, health, ethnicity, internal affairs, and justice; listen to the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee announce the results of its activities in participating in government building, and synthesize opinions and recommendations of voters and local people in 2024.
The session will also review the report on the results of monitoring the settlement of voters' petitions; reports of the Standing Committee of the People's Council, the Committees of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Court, the Provincial People's Procuracy, the Provincial Civil Judgment Enforcement Agency submitted to the session; the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee will announce the results of its activities in participating in government building, synthesizing opinions and petitions of voters and local people in 2024.
The session will also question the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, members of the Provincial People's Committee and relevant agencies under the supervision function of the Provincial People's Council on issues that delegates, voters and people are interested in and reflect; carry out procedures to dismiss the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; dismiss and elect additional members of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee, term 2021 - 2026 according to authority.
Speaking at the opening session, comrade Luu Van Trung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Council emphasized that this session is very important. The Provincial People's Council will discuss and decide on many issues to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles in mechanisms and policies, unblock resources, overcome bottlenecks, serve the province's socio -economic development and ensure people's lives.
In order for the meeting to complete the proposed agenda and be a success, the Chairman of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Council requested the delegates to uphold their sense of responsibility, actively study, discuss, and contribute many ideas to the content of the meeting. Based on the results of the 18th Conference of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, the report of the Provincial People's Committee on the results of the implementation of economic, social, budget, and public investment targets and tasks in 2024 and the actual situation of the province.
Provincial People's Council delegates need to focus on discussing and giving opinions on the suitability, feasibility and effectiveness of mechanisms and policies; consistency and synchronization with legal regulations in order to promote resources, potentials, strengths, take advantage of development opportunities, to successfully carry out the socio-economic development tasks in 2025 and the entire period of 2021 - 2025, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 12th Provincial Party Congress.
The 9th session of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Council, term IV, 2021-2026, will take place over 3 days, from December 9-11, 2024.
