Recently, a famous supercar showroom in Ho Chi Minh City surprised everyone when it displayed the unique million-dollar Koenigsegg CCX supercar in the Vietnamese market, alongside many other beautiful supercars and luxury cars, but all were overshadowed by the supercar from Sweden. This is not the first time the Koenigsegg CCX has been in Ho Chi Minh City, but it is the first time it has been in a supercar showroom, the reason for which was revealed shortly after. Specifically, the car went to the supercar showroom to do cleaning and maintenance, but whether it will stay here or return to Hai Phong is a big question mark.
At the end of last year, the million-dollar Koenigsegg CCX supercar was licensed after many years in Vietnam, attracting great attention from domestic car enthusiasts. Besides, there was also a lot of controversy, when many people thought that the new Koenigsegg CCX hypercar was licensed in Hai Phong and returned to Vietnam in 2020, while others said that the car had been available since 2018. The one-of-a-kind Koenigsegg CCX supercar in Vietnam owned by a Hai Phong businessman is equipped with a 4.7-liter supercharged V8 engine, producing a maximum capacity of 800 horsepower.
The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive, allowing the Koenigsegg CCX to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under 3 seconds before reaching a top speed of 402 km/h. There are only 30 Koenigsegg CCX supercars produced worldwide , of which a few have unfortunately been in serious accidents, causing severe structural damage, and are likely to be difficult to repair intact, so the rarity of the Koenigsegg CCX is indisputable.
The Koenigsegg CCX hypercar of the Hai Phong tycoon has chassis number #53 and was manufactured in 2008. More specifically, this is the only red CCX in the world. At the time of its launch, the Koenigsegg CCX had a selling price of 700,000 USD (about 17.79 billion VND) but now the price has increased quite a bit.
