At 6am on Saturday, when many corners of Hanoi are still quiet, at four football fields in the capital, hundreds of children from 6 to 14 years old are ready to start a new exciting day. They are members of SHB FC Academy - a meaningful sports and education program for children of SHB Bank employees.
Wearing uniforms bearing the SHB FC logo, the “little players” stepped onto the field with bright eyes and eager smiles. Behind their innocent steps is a journey of love, where the parents' hearts beat in unison with the joy of childhood.
Meaningful Summer for Children - Happy Season for Parents
“My son, this summer will be very special… not only for you, but also for me” – That is the sentiment of Ms. Nguyen Le Thuy - an officer working at SHB headquarters for her son when he officially became a student of SHB FC Academy.
For Thuy's son and many other children, this summer will no longer be days spent hanging around phones, tablets or air-conditioned rooms. Instead, there will be sunshine, wind, a field, hearty laughter and spirited kicks. All of these paint a vivid, fresh and childhood-like picture of summer.
"I believe that you will have wonderful experiences, and I will also learn one more thing: that love does not need to be too great, it just needs to be sincere enough... like what SHB is doing with its children. Your summer is also a happy summer for your parents," Ms. Thuy shared.

Sharing the joy and emotions with Ms. Le Thuy, Ms. Kim Anh (Cau Dien Transaction Office, SHB Ha Thanh Branch) - parent of two children participating in SHB FC Academy - shared that this is an extremely meaningful and useful playground. She is completely assured when her children are trained according to a methodical and professional program under the guidance of SHB FC coaches and players.
"I would like to thank the SHB leadership, the coaching team and the logistics department for creating conditions for the children to pursue their passion for football and at the same time train their physical fitness comprehensively. I am sure that this will be a memorable summer for the children," said Ms. Kim Anh.
SHB FC Academy is not an ordinary football training program. It is a journey of love, starting from the hearts of SHB leaders - people who are not only passionate about football, but also cherish family values, deeply understanding that the happiness of each employee begins with the laughter of children.
Nurturing passion - Lighting up the future
Coming to the training ground with his father early in the morning, Gia Huy said he is very passionate about football but has few opportunities to participate during the school year. As soon as his mother - an SHB employee - shared about SHB FC Academy, the boy was extremely excited and asked his mother to register to participate.
On the training ground, Minh - a boy who used to be quite shy, has now begun to boldly cooperate with his teammates. "Before, I was shy when playing with many friends, but thanks to the encouragement of the teachers at SHB FC Academy, I have become much more confident," Minh shared.

As for Quynh Chi, she used to think that soccer was only for boys. But after just the first practice session, Chi surprised everyone with her technique and agility.
As one of the oldest students at SHB FC Academy, 14-year-old Viet Anh said that the teachers in the coaching staff are very enthusiastic, professional and help students correct mistakes quickly. According to Viet Anh, this is a great opportunity for him to discover his own abilities and at the same time improve his skills so that he can later join football teams at school and class.
Spreading the football-loving genes of SHB people
Not only a playground for children, SHB FC Academy is also a place where SHB employees show their solidarity and inspire the next generation.
Mr. Cuong, who recently won the championship with SHB FC at the 2025 Hanoi Banking Spring Football Tournament and was also the best goalkeeper of the tournament, shared: “I feel really lucky and proud to contribute part of my efforts to the training program for children of bank employees – a meaningful and humane program.”
“Carrying in me the football-loving genes of SHB, I not only impart professional knowledge but also aim to help my children practice life skills, light the fire of passion, and continue the special cultural tradition of SHB,” Mr. Cuong added.

Ms. Thanh Huyen, a member of the coaching staff, said that some children showed outstanding talent right from the first training session. “The coaching staff wants to bring the children a fun and relaxing summer, from which they can explore their potential,” Ms. Huyen said.
Ms. Tu Anh, head of logistics at SHB FC Academy, humorously shared that accompanying the young students every Saturday and Sunday is "two days of overtime on the weekend with passion for the football field". "Even though I have to wake up at 5am, when I go to the field and see the eager summer students, I am naturally filled with energy for the new day, chasing away the sleepiness", Ms. Tu Anh said.
Towards the future – Building sustainable value
In the first year of implementation, SHB FC Academy will be held in Hanoi. It is expected that in the coming time, the program will continue to expand to other provinces and cities, so that not only children of SHB employees but also national children have the opportunity to participate and experience a modern, friendly and inspiring football environment.
SHB FC Academy is a vivid demonstration of the burning love for football of SHB people. That passion was ignited and spread by SHB Chairman of the Board of Directors Do Quang Hien (Bau Hien) - a person who always carries within himself the passion and desire to bring the country's football to the top.
With his unwavering dedication, he has contributed to the sustainable development of Vietnamese football by training young players and building professional clubs. Over the years, Mr. Hien's players have made great contributions to Vietnamese football, both in terms of expertise and talent. Together, they have won many major titles, making Vietnamese football make its mark on the regional and continental arenas.
Vietnamese football will certainly go further in the future. And that can start from summer mornings with SHB FC Academy, where children's laughter echoes on the green grass.
