A series of large-scale, painstakingly staged programs will recreate that journey through artistic language, taking viewers from historical memories to today's aspirations. But the deepest impression does not lie in the bright lights or modern techniques, but in the moments that touch the heart, where love for the country flows silently and rapidly.
At My Dinh National Stadium, within the framework of the program "Fatherland in the Heart" taking place on the evening of August 10 (co-organized by the Hanoi People's Committee and Nhan Dan Newspaper), there will be a meaningful activity. Tens of thousands of spectators will stand up, look at the red flag with a yellow star and sing along to the famous song by musician Van Cao Tien Quan Ca. That moment will be the most emotional highlight, where no stage star can shine brighter than the common symbol of the nation. The five-pointed yellow star on the sacred red flag will be the convergence point of memories and aspirations, evoking historical autumns, battles to defend the country and glorious moments of the nation. When tens of thousands of people sing together, the singing will become a symbol of unity, a strength that surpasses all social network "trends", a strength that has been deeply ingrained in the flesh and blood, more steadfast than any temporary wave.
The source of patriotism does not come from performances just for the sake of fame, but from these experiences that make people feel they belong to something greater. During the days of August, programs such as “Fatherland in the Heart” or “Under the Glorious Flag” organized by the Ministry of National Defense on the evening of August 9, have gone beyond the concept of an art program to bring the audience resonant spaces, where art and historical memories become one. There, each melody, each image carries the mission of evocative. It is no coincidence that this year's programs all have a connection between art and historical milestones: from "Hanoi - From the historic Autumn of 1945" (organized by Hanoi People's Committee on the evening of August 15) recreating the vibrant atmosphere of the August Revolution, to "Hanoi - Forever the aspiration of Vietnam" (organized by Hanoi People's Committee in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the evening of August 31) combining music, contemporary dance and 3D mapping to talk about the aspiration to rise up. When art touches common memories, it becomes a bridge connecting the past and the present, all in the same sense of responsibility to the Fatherland.
These days, from everyday life to cyberspace, the atmosphere of pride and patriotism of each citizen is spreading everywhere. Art programs and music products are contributing to the common pride of the whole nation. Well-prepared and profound art programs and products will sow in the hearts of listeners stories, images, and melodies with lasting vitality. Because only when art nurtures memories, evokes empathy and urges action, can it truly "take root" in people's hearts, becoming an inseparable underground stream in national identity.
Patriotism, after all, is not something far-fetched or that only appears on important holidays. It exists in every daily choice: the way we work, treat others, preserve the Vietnamese language and customs, or react to common problems of the country. And for that love to last, it needs strong enough catalysts. Art, when integrated into the flow of patriotism, is one of those catalysts. The yellow star on the bright red flag, the solemn melody of the National Anthem, the images of historic autumn days… when recreated in the language of art will add energy to the source of patriotism, so that it will never run out, no matter how time and circumstances change.
