Attending the ceremony were Mr. Le Thanh Trieu, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Phan Hoang Vu, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, along with local leaders and a large number of people.

Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Le Thanh Trieu spoke at the inauguration ceremony and handover of the house, marking the completion of the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

Mr. Tran Van Duc's family is near-poor, and was supported with 60 million VND from the program and 5 million VND from socialized sources to build a new house. After the construction period, the house was completed, helping the family stabilize their housing and feel secure in developing their economy .

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Le Thanh Trieu congratulated Mr. Tran Van Duc's family on having a new, solid and spacious house to stabilize their lives; he wished that the family would feel secure in working and producing, developing the economy, and gradually rising out of poverty sustainably. The Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the effective coordination between the District Fatherland Front Committee, the joint efforts of businesses and philanthropists in implementing the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households to have a stable place to eat and live, in line with the spirit of "no one is left behind".

Poor and near-poor households received gifts at the house inauguration ceremony.

After 8 months of implementation, the program has supported the construction and handover of 4,400 houses to poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households across the province. The early completion of the program not only closes a phase of housing care but also opens a new phase - a phase focusing on creating sustainable livelihoods, adding confidence and motivation for people to rise out of poverty.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee and Dam Doi District People's Committee presented many gifts to Mr. Tran Van Duc's family and poor and near-poor households in Ta An Khuong Dong commune.
