Khanh Hoa and India promote tourism development together

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing many contents on enhancing tourism cooperation between India and Khanh Hoa province in the coming time. In particular, Khanh Hoa and India introduced their tourism potential and strengths; analyzed the difficulties and obstacles encountered in the process of tourism connection; promoted the opening of a direct flight connecting Cam Ranh-India to facilitate the support of citizens of the two countries to make trips and act as a bridge connecting tourism businesses in the province with tourism businesses and experts in India...

Speaking at the conference, Permanent Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Le Huu Hoang affirmed: This is an opportunity to introduce the tourism image of the two sides, at the same time, creating a space for leaders and tourism businesses to directly discuss the current situation of Khanh Hoa-India tourism development. From there, practical ideas will be put forward to promote tourism development of both sides in the coming time.

Khanh Hoa Province hopes that the Consulate General of India will receive information shared by tourism businesses at this Conference and work with the province to create favorable conditions for tourism development between Khanh Hoa Province and India, growing faster than in previous years.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tushar Garg, Vice Consul of India in Ho Chi Minh City, said: India and Khanh Hoa can cooperate in developing health and yoga tourism, eco-tourism and cultural exchange programs.

“India is famous for its health and yoga resorts and Khanh Hoa with its peaceful environment is also an ideal place for such experiences. Joint wellness programs can attract tourists seeking spiritual recovery and development. Both India and Khanh Hoa are blessed with natural beauty and biodiversity. Joint ecotourism initiatives can promote sustainable tourism activities and draw attention to the ecological treasures of our regions,” said Mr. Tushar Garg.

Within the framework of the Hello Vietnam Festival 2024 in Khanh Hoa province, in addition to the Khanh Hoa-India tourism promotion conference, many other activities took place such as: Indian and Khanh Hoa tourism businesses introduced tourism products and services, and directly exchanged detailed information to connect with each other; organized a Famtrip program to survey Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa tourist attractions including Ponagar Tower Relic Site, Hon Chong scenic spot and Vinpearl Harbor Nha Trang.
