This morning, July 8, information from the La Lay International Border Gate Border Guard Station, Quang Tri province, said that traffic on National Highway 15D towards the border gate is currently cut off due to landslides.

Previously, on the afternoon of July 7, at km 8+900 of National Highway 15D, a large amount of rock and soil slid down the road, causing a complete traffic jam.

The cause is believed to be that the traffic construction unit here is implementing mountain clearance at one of the 11 curves being expanded on the route.

Immediately after the incident, authorities and construction units quickly arrived at the scene, setting up blockades at both ends to ensure traffic safety for people and vehicles.
