On November 10, the PetroViet Nam Cup Marathon - Ca Mau 2024 with the theme "Ca Mau Rendezvous" officially kicked off for distances of 5 km or more. The tournament is organized in conjunction with the gathering event to the North (1954 - 2024) to promote the cultural beauty, history, heroic revolutionary tradition of the people of Ca Mau and unique nature.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, said that this event not only responded to the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" but also encouraged people to choose a suitable sport to exercise, contributing to improving physical fitness and developing the mass sports movement in the area.

In addition to its sporting significance, the race also conveys the message that Ca Mau is a safe destination with a fresh climate and gentle, hospitable people. At the same time, it is an opportunity to promote exchanges and cooperation, attracting the attention of investors and tourism experts to survey the potential, advantages and preferential policies of the province, especially in the field of tourism.
The race also has 2.4 km and 1.2 km distances for teenagers and children.
Young athletes of the Marathon - Ca Mau 2024
The 2024 Ca Mau Marathon includes competitions at distances of 42 km (Marathon) and 21 km (Half Marathon), along with shorter distances such as 5 km and 10 km for male and female amateur athletes. In addition, the tournament also has distances of 2.4 km and 1.2 km for teenagers and children.
