Opening of the ancient Nha Trang Craft Village and launching the live show "Legendary Light"

On the evening of August 17, the ancient Nha Trang Craft Village (Thai Thong village, Nam Nha Trang ward) held an opening ceremony and introduced the live show "Legendary Light". Attending the opening ceremony were comrade Le Huu Tho - former Head of the Propaganda Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Khanh Hoa Newspaper and Radio, Television, Nam Nha Trang ward, Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association, Khanh Hoa Culinary Culture Association and representatives of many tourism businesses in the province.

The ancient Nha Trang craft village (covering an area of 3 hectares) was built many years ago. This is where the quintessence of traditional culture and folk arts of the Vietnamese people converge. Currently, the craft village introduces traditional crafts such as: Pottery making, mat weaving, figurine making, calligraphy, incense making, lacquer painting. The ancient Nha Trang craft village also introduces traditional cuisine such as: Banh Can, Banh Xeo, Bun Ca, and other traditional cakes of Khanh Hoa.

In particular, on this occasion, the ancient Nha Trang Craft Village officially launched the live show "Legendary Light", with 5 scenes: "Weaving dreams - Love of pottery and the sea - Storm - Legendary light - Interwoven happiness". The show "Legendary light" is a story about the culture of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa through the flow of history. From traditional craft villages such as: Weaving mats, making pottery to the simple life of ancient people, the footsteps of doctor A. Yersin and the brilliant moments of cultural exchange of ethnic groups living in Khanh Hoa.

The ancient Nha Trang Craft Village will organize the show "Legendary Light" 6 nights/week. Visitors to the ancient Nha Trang Craft Village will be able to watch the show for free. "We want to build the ancient Nha Trang Craft Village to become a unique cultural and community tourism destination of Khanh Hoa. In the future, we will bring more traditional crafts here, as well as organize more workshops to introduce Vietnamese traditional culture to domestic and international tourists", Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh - Director of the ancient Nha Trang Craft Village expressed.
