Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Director of Ho Chi Minh City Museum of History delivered the opening speech.
The theme aims to introduce and honor the documentary and artistic value of postage stamps as a means of preserving history, reflecting culture, politics and important events of Vietnam, especially during the period of the August Revolution in 1945, National Day on September 2 and the early period of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. The exhibition will introduce to the public 3 main themes:
- Collection “Vietnam on World Stamps” and “ World Stamps tell stories of Vietnam”.
- Collection "August Revolution 1945 and National Day September 2 on postage stamps".
- Collection of medals, badges and insignia of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in the early period.
Museum representative receives donated artifacts
Museum representatives presented flowers and certificates to collectors.
In addition, with the aim of contributing to enriching the collection of artifacts of the Ho Chi Minh City History Museum, Mr. Hoang Anh Thi - Chairman of the Viet Stamp Club donated an artifact to the Museum, which is a Vietnamese stamp about the architecture of the Ho Chi Minh City History Museum. And on the occasion of the country's great holiday, the Red Star Revolutionary Memorabilia Collection Group of the Viet Stamp Club presented Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan with a badge commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The stamp exhibition "80 years of Vietnam reaching out to the sea" will take place from August 27, 2025 to September 27, 2025 at the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of History (No. 02 Nguyen Binh Khiem, Saigon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
