Hotels attract guests thanks to fireworks festivals

DNO - The Da Nang International Fireworks Competition 2025 (DIFF 2025) will take place from May 31 to July 12 with the theme "Da Nang - New Era". Although only two rounds of competition have been held, it has attracted a large number of tourists. Da Nang Electronic Newspaper (DNO) had a quick interview with Ms. Nicole Weitsz - Curator aka GM Radisson RED Danang (General Manager of Radisson RED Danang Hotel).

Yes, hotel occupancy rates during DIFF 2025 have seen a significant spike, especially on weekend nights when the teams perform. We have seen a sharp increase in occupancy rates throughout the festival season, with an average market occupancy rate of 85%. Many hotels conveniently located near the fireworks area, including the Radisson RED, have reached maximum occupancy on weekends. Even weekdays have seen much higher occupancy rates than usual.

This is also the peak period of Da Nang tourism, coinciding with the summer holidays and favorable weather, so the number of tourists flocking to the city is very large. The combination of the fireworks festival and the peak tourist season has created a strong attraction, boosting the demand for accommodation.
