JustaTee shared: “I feel the song is “ripe” enough to bring to the audience. This time, I am quite confident in the way I write lyrics - still keeping the innocence, there are parts very close to real life, still have metaphors and still have a street quality, true to JustaTee. Not too flowery”.

The MV Bong hoa jasmine also marks the reunion of JustaTee and Phuong Ly, the "hit-making duo" who made a splash with a series of songs such as Mat troi cua em, Da lo yeu em nhieu ... In the MV, Phuong Ly appears as JustaTee's "muse".
