Closing ceremony of tactical exercise of S-125M air defense missile technical squad in 2025

Attending the event were Colonel Ta Minh Hung, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Air Defense - Air Force Service (Service), Colonel Truong Manh Phuong, Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of the Service; representatives of the Department of Military Training - School (General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army); heads of functional agencies of the Service, comrades in the Steering Committee, Organizing Committee, Jury; functional agencies of air defense divisions, leaders and commanders of air defense regiments and combat crews participating in the exercise.

After 5 days of organizing the exercise (from July 14 to 18), with a positive, urgent, and highly responsible spirit, the tactical exercise of the S-125M air defense missile technical squad in 2025 completed its content, achieving the goals and requirements of the plan.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the exercise, Colonel Ta Minh Hung, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army, praised the comrades in the Steering Committee, Organizing Committee, Jury, and Support Team for promoting a sense of responsibility, performing well their duties and tasks, and organizing the exercise according to plan. Leaders and commanders of the units regularly paid attention to, monitored, and encouraged the troops to successfully complete the exercise tasks. The combat teams participating in the exercise made great efforts, humbly learned from each other, strictly followed the exercise regulations and Army discipline, overcame all difficulties, promoted the spirit of solidarity and high determination; applied the knowledge and experience they had learned into practice.

The Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army requested that, based on the results of the exercise, the Army agencies should draw experience from the organization and training methods of officers, combat training of S-125M air defense missile technical squads, especially training of assembly lines and tactical teams for rapid mobility of equipment, and night training.

For units and organizations, seriously draw lessons, promote strengths, and overcome shortcomings and deficiencies that have been pointed out. Take leadership and direction measures to propose methods and forms of training to improve the qualifications, mettle, and mentality of commanders; train soldiers to be resilient and resilient; unify commands, tactical team practice movements, and coordinate chain shifts to meet the requirements of combat training tasks and be ready to fight in the new situation.

As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the combat crew of Technical Battalion 80 (Missile Regiment 257, Air Defense Division 361); the second prize to the combat crew of Technical Battalion 125 (Missile Regiment 284, Air Defense Division 365) and Technical Battalion 115 (Missile Regiment 274, Air Defense Division 377); the third prize to the combat crew of Air Defense Missile Technical Battalion 75 (Regiment 285, Air Defense Division 363).
