iPhone 11 upgrade to iOS 26 is like "having it is like not having it"

While iPhone 11 users will still receive the iOS 26 update, they won't be able to use some important features.

- Enhanced visual intelligence: This feature is only available on iPhone 15 Pro and later, which allows users to search, ask questions, and take actions based on the content displayed on the screen.

- Live Translation: Also a feature exclusive to iPhone 15 Pro and above, it provides users with live translated subtitles in FaceTime and allows users to receive text or voice translations during calls.

- AI Shortcuts: This feature is also only available for iPhone 15 Pro and above, which allows users to create AI-powered shortcuts.

- Genmoji improvements: iPhone 11 will not have the upgraded Genmoji features in iOS 26. Newer devices can combine Genmoji with emojis and descriptions to create unique images.

iOS 26 is likely the last major update the iPhone 11 Series will receive.

- Image Playground with ChatGPT: Apple is improving the Image Playground functionality by allowing ChatGPT to provide new styles for creating images, but iPhone 11 users won't get to take advantage of it.

- Advanced messaging features: While the iPhone 11 will bring the ability to make polls and wallpaper options, only the iPhone 15 Pro and later will have conversation-based poll suggestions and the ability to create wallpapers via Image Playground.

- Track orders with Apple Wallet: Apple will use AI to pull tracking information from users' email inboxes.

- Space scene effects: Only iPhone 12 and later have the ability to create space-like images, so iPhone 11 users will not see 3D photo effects in this update.

Basically, iPhone 11 users need to note that although they still receive the iOS 26 update, they also have to accept some limitations in experiencing new features and improvements that only newer iPhone models are equipped with.
