Speaking at a press conference, Minister Dito said that this Southeast Asian country will also send 134 athletes to compete in 12 sports at the 2023 Asian Paralympic Games.

Specifically, the Indonesian team participating in ASIAD 2023 will include 415 athletes and 161 officials.

Meanwhile, 134 athletes, 56 coaches and 62 support staff will represent Indonesia at the 2023 Asian Paralympic Games.

Minister Dito announced the target of bringing Indonesia into the top 12 at the 2023 ASIAD with 8-12 gold medals. This target is lower than the target set for the 2018 ASIAD when Indonesia was the host.

The 2023 ASIAD will take place from September 23 to October 8 in Hangzhou, China.

Football alone will begin competition on September 19 before the continent's biggest sporting event officially opens.
