Ia Grai: Body of missing victim found on Po Co River | Gia Lai Electronic Newspaper

(GLO)- On June 10, Mr. Siu Nghiep - Chairman of the People's Committee of Ia O commune (Ia Grai district) said that the body of Nguyen Van Cong (born in 1983, residing in Mit Kom 1 village, Ia O commune) was found after going fishing and going missing on the Po Co river.

As reported by Gia Lai Electronic Newspaper, at around 7:30 p.m. on June 7, Nguyen Van Cong used a boat to go fishing on the Po Co River in Mit Kom 1 village. When he did not return in the morning, his family reported to the local authorities and functional forces to organize a search.

Immediately after receiving the news, the Ia O Commune People's Committee directed the Commune Police to coordinate with relevant agencies to send forces to the scene, and together with local people to check and search suspicious areas. At 4:00 p.m. on June 9, the authorities found the body of Nguyen Van Cong.
