Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, attended.

On this occasion, the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City presented 10 gifts to disadvantaged households and 10 gifts to orphans. An Dong Ward also presented 50 gifts to disadvantaged households in the neighborhood.
The festival took place with exciting activities: cooking competition, photo exhibition; flower bicycle parade to promote the campaign for Ho Chi Minh City residents not to litter on the streets and canals, for a clean city and to reduce flooding; propaganda on traffic safety and fire prevention in apartment buildings.

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front and to welcome the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels (term 2025-2030), the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City issued a plan to organize a series of activities "National Unity Day" in residential areas in Ho Chi Minh City.
The chain of activities has 4 peak periods:
Phase 1: "Independence Day" Festival - Celebrating the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (from August 25 to September 2).
Phase 2: Festival "Civilized - Modern - Affectionate City" to welcome the 1st Congress of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 (from September 20 to October 20).
Phase 3: Festival "City of Love - Connecting Love" to welcome the Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front delegates at all levels of Ho Chi Minh City for the 2025 - 2030 term (from October 20 to October 30).
Phase 4: National Great Unity Day with the theme "National Unity Day" to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front - Traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (from November 1 to November 20).
