Hyundai has confirmed that the 2025 Staria will be launched in Malaysia in early July, marking the return of the high-end 7-seat Prestige version after a period of absence. Meanwhile, the current 10-seat versions will continue to be maintained with full configuration options. This 7-seat Prestige version has a slight design upgrade, with highlights being copper-plated exterior details, LED headlights and a new identification logo.
In the 10-seat group, versions such as Style, Plus and Max still retain the current equipment, to serve customers who need a vehicle to transport many people. The diverse product range helps Staria reach both family customers and high-end transportation services. The front seats are electrically adjustable, with integrated heating and cooling. The car also has wireless charging, dual sunroof, dual-zone front and rear air conditioning, providing an experience equivalent to a luxury MPV. The second row seats are business class, with reclining, sliding, integrated footrests and ventilation features.
Inside, the car is finished with premium leather, a 10.25-inch digital screen, an 8-inch central entertainment screen with wireless connectivity, a 12-speaker sound system and a 360-degree camera. All versions of the 2025 Staria continue to use a 2.2L turbocharged diesel engine, 177 horsepower, 431 Nm of torque, 8-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. The car is assembled domestically, aiming for a competitive price in the large MPV segment in Southeast Asia. The revival of the 7-seat Prestige version with a series of high-end amenities shows that Hyundai is targeting customers who need a luxury family car, while still maintaining its strength in the 10-seat segment for transportation business. With outstanding design and comfortable interior, the new generation Hyundai Staria 2025 promises to be a formidable competitor in the multi-purpose MPV segment.
In the Malaysian market, the price of the 7-seat Prestige Hyundai Staria 2025 is expected to be lower than the old Premium version's RM 368,888. Meanwhile, the 10-seat versions are expected to keep the same price: RM 183,888 for Lite; RM 200,888 for Plus and RM 215,888 for Max. Video : See details of the high-end MPV Hyundai Staria 2025.
