(QNO) - On the afternoon of June 16, Tien Phuoc District Party Committee held a meeting with Party cell secretaries, village and block heads to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the founding of the District Party Committee (June 16, 1946 - June 16, 2023). The meeting reviewed the tradition and 77 years of construction and development of the Tien Phuoc District Party Committee; including the great contributions of former district leaders, Party cell secretaries, village and block heads. Upholding the tradition, the Tien Phuoc District Party Committee and People are united and determined to overcome all difficulties, building the locality to develop more and more.

The district leaders also reported on the highlights of socio -economic development, security and defense in the past time and development orientation in the coming time. In 2022 and the first half of 2023, in addition to infrastructure investment, the district focused on supporting people to develop garden economy, farm economy, eco-tourism and achieved encouraging results.

Since the beginning of the year, the total production value is estimated at 754 billion VND, an increase of more than 7.03% compared to the plan. The locality has 654 households registered to develop garden economy and farm economy according to Resolution 35 of the Provincial People's Council with a support fund of more than 72.3 billion VND. Income from garden economy and farm economy increased from 120 million VND/ha in 2020 to 156.3 million VND/ha in 2023. 11/14 communes have reached the new rural destination; striving to reach the new rural district destination by 2025.

At the meeting, Party cell secretaries, village and block heads shared their thoughts and contributed ideas to build the district Party Committee stronger and the homeland more and more developed.
